“How much does a website cost?” is the most common question we get, and the honest answer is: it depends on what you’re building. But you deserve real numbers, not a runaround.
The honest ranges
- DIY builders (Wix, Squarespace): roughly $20–$50/month, forever. Cheap to start, slow, generic, and you never own it.
- Freelancer templates: roughly $500–$2,000 for a customized template. Fine for a simple presence, limited ceiling.
- Custom-built sites: roughly $1,500–$12,000+ depending on scope. Fast, distinctive, owned outright.
What drives the price
The number of pages, whether it’s e-commerce, the depth of custom design and animation, content and SEO work, and integrations like Stripe or a CMS. A one-page launch site and a full storefront are different projects with different budgets.
What we charge
We publish flat pricing so there are no surprises:
- Starter landing page — $1,600 CAD
- Signature website (up to 5 pages) — $3,300 CAD
- Custom multipage (up to 10 pages) — $6,400 CAD
- E-commerce store — $9,500 CAD
- Business suite — from $12,000 CAD
Every package includes design, development, and deployment, with no monthly builder fees and full ownership of the code.
Cheap vs. expensive over time
A $30/month builder costs over $1,800 across five years — and you still own nothing and load slowly. A custom site is a one-time cost that keeps ranking and converting for years. Cheap upfront isn’t always cheap.
